Martinez Lake is located on the Colorado river 31 miles from Yuma. The river stretches upstream 70 miles to Blythe and downstream 7 miles to the Imperial Dam.

There are numerous canals and backwater lakes that quadruples the shoreline available for fishing.

Your guide is a licensed experienced fishing guide that is very familiar with special interest features that can be seen up and down the river. We suggest you come out and spend a day of fishing and river familiarization so that you can come back on your own.

Hours: An average bass trip is 6 hours, an early start is recommended. Flathead trips leave 1 hour before sunset and return 1 hour after sunrise. We are flexible. All trips subject to weather.

Species: Bass, crappie, bluegill, strippers, and flathead catfish.

Gear: Rental tackle available.

License: A California or Arizona fishing license plus river stamp required for fisherman 14 years or older. Those just along for the ride need not have a fishing license. Arizona licenses (5 day, 4 month, or one yr. are available at the store).
